Waterbill Donations

The City of Lewisville and Keep Lewisville Beautiful (KLB) have had a long and successful relationship in making Lewisville a wonderful place to live. We are inviting you to participate with us to protect and improve the quality of life in our city. How can you help? It's simple, through our voluntary water bill contribution program that enables you to provide assistance to Keep Lewisville Beautiful for programs such as tree plantings, flower plantings, neighborhood beautification projects, city-wide and lakeshore cleanups, and many other activities that enhance the community in which we live.

For 21 years, Keep Lewisville Beautiful, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, has worked to empower the citizens of Lewisville to make a difference in their community. KLB received the prestigious Governor's Community Achievement Award in 1993 for outstanding programming in environmental initiatives, and as a result, the city received $60,000 in funding for beautification projects. KLB has since then continued to coordinate citywide cleanups and environmental education projects in Lewisville with the help of faithful volunteers from the community for the past two decades! These activities have saved Lewisville taxpayers thousands of dollars in labor and disposal costs, and have made lasting impressions on young people who participate in the projects about taking responsibility for their environment. Funding for projects sponsored by KLB comes completely from donations, so your support of KLB is important. If all the households in Lewisville just contributed a $1.00 a month, it would provide over $39,500 a month for KLB programs to make your city the best it can be!

We hope you will want to make a difference by donating a small monthly amount on your water bill to KLB. You can do this by completing the pledge card below and returning it with your water bill payment. The amount you designate will be added automatically to your water bill each month, and you can stop the contribution at any time you wish by calling Customer Service in Water Billing at 972-219-3440. Otherwise, your donation will continue for one year after receipt of your pledge card. And remember, since KLB is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your donation is tax deductible!
